We embodied the modern interpretation of the English classics in MILTON model, which has a typical high back and so-called “wings” on the sides, smoothly turning into armrests. It was in England in the 17th century that the first “winged” chairs appeared, which the British themselves called the “wingback chair”. With the help of such “winged” design it was possible to trap heat from the fireplace and keep yourself warm, since there was no central heating and it was often very cold in the house. Therefore, MILTON armchair is perfect for relaxing by the fireplace in a calm and warm atmosphere, and the extraordinary softness and extra back cushions, which come with the model, will make your rest even more comfortable.
